At Forno da Telha in Évora, Sundays just got a flavorful upgrade with the perfect blend of traditional Alentejo cuisine, a refreshing pool, and family-friendly fun, and everyone is invited to join.

On June 22, Forno da Telha launched its “Sunday Lunches” experience — an ideal summer plan for families, friends, and food lovers. Every Sunday from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, guests are invited to enjoy a rotating menu rooted in the rich culinary heritage of the Alentejo.

The centerpiece of the meal is a main course (meat or fish) cooked in a traditional outdoor wood-fired oven, delivering rustic flavors that define the region. The meal begins with a buffet of fresh starters, inspired by local garden produce, and ends with a dessert cart, allowing guests to pick their favorites at their own pace, just like Sundays should be.

Outside, the atmosphere remains inviting: a Sangria Bar by the pool, lounge chairs with towels provided, and a perfect setting to linger into the afternoon with a swim and a cool drink.

Families with kids will appreciate the “Cantinho dos Pequenos Alentejanos” — a supervised kids' club offering playful and educational activities. Children can explore the Alentejo spirit through straw hats, miniature tools, and a dedicated buffet just for them.

For a laid-back Sunday filled with good food, sun, and a taste of Alentejo hospitality, Forno da Telha is the place to be this summer.
