Mercan Showcases Keranis Residences and Mercan Private Equity Fund in Focused China Roadshow

This July, Mercan took a significant step in deepening its presence in Asia. Our Business Development Manager, Marcelo Azevedo, led a three-week roadshow across six cities in China, marking Mercan’s focused tour in partnership with Globevisa for our Keranis Residence project in Greece and the Mercan Private Equity Fund I (MPEF I), an investment vehicle designed to channel capital into growth-oriented hospitality projects in Portugal under the Golden Visa program.

Marcelo visited key cities, including Hangzhou, Shanghai, Dalian, Shenzhen, Shenyang, and others, engaging closely with the teams across several meetings. The objective was clear: to present and promote the Keranis Residence, alongside the MPEF I, both reflecting Mercan's commitment to delivering high-value ventures in Europe’s hospitality sector.

Throughout the roadshow, Marcelo conducted in-depth presentations, held product training sessions, and led one-on-one meetings with potential investors and partners. These moments introduced the Keranis project and the MPEF I to new audiences in China and allowed for meaningful dialogue and tailored insights into investor expectations.

Our long-standing relationship with Globevisa continues to be one of Mercan’s most valuable partnerships in the region. Their expansive network and strong local knowledge make them an essential partner as we introduce flagship developments such as the Keranis Residence and the MPEF I to the Chinese market.

Hangzhou, in particular, represented a key starting point for this launch effort, given its growing community of outbound investors and sophisticated client base.

This roadshow marks just the beginning of a broader initiative. Marcelo is scheduled to return to China for a second round of meetings and presentations in the near future, continuing the momentum and reinforcing our commitment to both our projects and our partners.
