Forno da Telha has been officially nominated for the second edition of TheFork Awards, standing out as one of the 38 restaurants chosen nationwide. The awards celebrate the best new dining concepts in Portugal, shining a spotlight on restaurants that bring innovation, creativity, and authenticity to the country’s culinary landscape.

Selections for the awards are made by a distinguished panel of more than 50 renowned Portuguese chefs, including several with Michelin stars. Each chef is invited to nominate restaurants that, in their view, represent the future of Portuguese gastronomy. This recognition places Forno da Telha among a select group of projects that are reshaping the way we experience food, rooted in tradition but with a forward-looking vision. In this second edition, Forno da Telha is one of the selected restaurants, only one year after its opening.

Located in the heart of Évora, Forno da Telha is the creation of Chef Miguel Rocha Vieira. The restaurant pays homage to the flavors and culture of the Alentejo while presenting them through a contemporary lens.
