The Holiday Inn Beja, a hotel developed by Mercan Properties and managed by AHM - Ace Hospitality Management, has been named a finalist in the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in Tourism category of the prestigious Prémios do Imobiliário awards, organized by Expresso and SIC Notícias. Now in their seventh edition, these awards recognize outstanding real estate projects across Portugal that stand out for their innovation, sustainability, and architectural design.

Located in the heart of the historic city of Beja, the Holiday Inn Beja was inaugurated in 2024 following the full rehabilitation of a former commercial building. The project brought new life to a central urban space, aligning with Mercan Properties’ mission of creating high-quality tourism assets that foster economic and social revitalization.
