Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos welcomes the festive season with proposals designed for everyone: from corporate menus divided into four special options, to a Christmas Eve Dinner that brings families and friends together at the table, and a New Year’s Eve Dinner that promises to welcome 2026 with music, toasts, and carefully crafted gastronomy.

For corporate gatherings, the hotel offers four menus, one of them in a buffet format. The first two options include a starter, a main course of choice, and a dessert common to all guests, while the third, more elaborate option includes a starter, dessert, and both a fish and meat dish. Among the available gastronomic suggestions are dishes such as oven-baked rice with sliced entrecôte, roasted cod with young potatoes and garlic sautéed turnip greens, duck magret with skirret purée and pak choi, and the traditional Abade de Priscos pudding with lime ice cream.

The fourth menu, in buffet format, features a selection of starters, fresh and composed salads, soups, meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes, such as oven-baked cod and cauliflower with curry, grapes, and dried fruits. To finish, the dessert options range from the most traditional, such as King Cake and Grandma’s rice pudding, to more contemporary suggestions, like wild berry pavlova or pineapple carpaccio with mint and toasted coconut.

Reservations are exclusive to groups with a minimum of 20 people, and prices range between €34 and €54 per person. To complement the meals, it is also possible to add a welcome drink (€8 per person) or a welcome cocktail (€15 per person), as well as several supplements: premium wine selection (€5 per person), Portuguese and international cheese board (€8 per person), digestive service (€6 per person), and open bar (€14 per person for 2 hours or €18 for 3 hours).

On the night of December 24, the Christmas Eve Dinner at Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos comes to life with recipes everyone knows, such as cod loin with cornbread crust, paired with Vallado Branco, Douro, or the beef tournedos with foie gras sauce and mushrooms, served with Casa da Passarela Tinto, Dão. For dessert, the classic French toast is reinterpreted with toffee and vanilla ice cream and is served with coffee and Serra cheese, finishing the meal with a Porto Kopke LBV. The Christmas Eve Dinner begins at 7:30 PM and is priced at €65 per person, including beverages such as water, juices, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and Christmas mignardises. Children from 6 to 12 years old enjoy a 50% discount, and children up to 5 years old may join the experience free of charge.

Christmas Day is celebrated with a brunch, ideal for extending the gathering around the table. The experience includes a generous bakery and pastry station, a selection of charcuterie, PDO cheeses, and traditional starters such as cod fritters, goat cheese puff pastries with honey, and a variety of Portuguese savory bites. Lighter options come in the form of fresh and composed salads, and there is also a station dedicated to fruit, yogurt, and artisanal jams. Among the hot dishes are gratinated cauliflower with basmati rice, traditional Christmas roasted kid with oven-baked potatoes and rice, and Grandma Mila’s “Roupa Velha.” There is also a station for creating your own waffle with various toppings. To finish, the Sweet Corner offers festive and Portuguese-inspired desserts, including caramelized custard, rice pudding, “aletria,” homemade doughnuts, golden French toast, and traditional sponge cake.

The Christmas Brunch runs from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM and is priced at €57 per person, with beverages included (soft drinks and alcoholic beverages not included). Children from 6 to 12 years old receive a 50% discount, and children up to 5 years old are invited by the hotel.

New Year’s Eve With Groove: Dinner With Live Music And Plenty Of Fun

The last night of the year is celebrated at Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos starting at 7:30 PM at the hotel’s Lobby Bar, where guests are welcomed by live saxophone music and enjoy cocktails and drinks specially prepared for the occasion. The Chef’s Table features delicacies such as pork “piano” croquette, oysters with lemon and Tabasco, smoked salmon vol-au-vent, and apple blini with caviar, opening the palate for dinner.

On the lower floor, in the restaurant, the dining moment takes place to the sound of a live music duo and begins with caramelized scallop with champagne foam and salmon roe. The main courses include black oven rice with Algarve scarlet prawn and duck magret with celery, pearl onions, and fleur de sel, finishing the meal with a chocolate sphere with crème anglaise, paired with Niepoort Late Bottled Vintage Unfiltered, Douro. At 11:45 PM, the 12 wishes are prepared, and at exactly midnight, champagne is raised, and 12 raisins are enjoyed to welcome 2026.
