Shaping a Lasting Legacy Through People and Places: Mercan’s First Sustainability Report Is Now Available

Mercan Properties Group has released its first Sustainability Report, marking an important step in the Group’s journey and bringing together the main milestones, progress, and actions implemented throughout our first nine years of activity in Portugal. Under the motto Shaping a Lasting Legacy Through People and Places, this report is now available to read, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to transparency and trust. 

The Sustainability Report represents Mercan Properties Group's first reporting cycle of its kind, with 2024 serving as the baseline year for how we will track, manage and communicate our performance in the years ahead. It is designed to communicate and share the Group’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance and to prepare our organization for future challenges, and evolving market and stakeholder expectations and requirements. 

While the ESG framework is still evolving, sustainability is already part of how we make decisions and strengthen governance. We recognize the importance of turning commitments into action, now and in the future, to become a more sustainable, socially engaged and inclusive group.
