Forno da Telha Turns Dinner Into a Fado Show With The 3rd Edition of "Serões à Mesa"

Serões à Mesa is back for its 3rd edition, at Forno da Telha, on February 27 at 7 p.m. The restaurant in Évora welcomes guests for an evening where Portuguese comfort food meets the soul of fado. It’s a dinner made for lingering: good conversation, warm plates, and live music that naturally slows everything down.

The night’s soundtrack comes from Carlos Filipe, joined by Fernando Vicente on Portuguese guitar and Gonçalo Cercas on viola, bringing an intimate fado set to the table as the meal unfolds.

To round out the experience, dinner begins with a classic couvert—naturally fermented bread, seasoned Alentejo olives, garlic-and-herb butter, and Forno da Telha extra-virgin olive oil—followed by shareable starters like Alentejo-style pork ear salad, octopus salad with Portuguese vinaigrette, and lupini bean hummus. For the main course, guests choose between seared corvina with tomato migas and grilled vegetables with citrus sauce or duck with sausage rice and Algarve-style carrots, ending on a sweet note with either sweet rice mousse or rosemary-scented milk cream.

The dinner menu is priced at €39 per person (with drinks included: white and red wine, water, and soft drinks). Learn more on our social media and make your reservation.
