With the arrival of Easter, Casa das Lérias is launching a special edition of the traditional sweet from Amarante that gives the project its name. Sweetness, joy, and tradition are the guiding themes of this limited offering, which features egg jam as its main ingredient and will only be available from March 27 to April 13.

Casa das Lérias tells the story of Amarante through its most traditional flavors, filled with history and identity. Located in the heart of the city, the café that is part of this historic lodging pays true tribute to the region’s conventual pastries, this time with a new limited edition dedicated to Easter.

The ‘Lérinhas’ are inspired by Glórinhas, a typical sweet from northern Portugal made with flour, sugar, almonds, and water, famous for having a circle in the middle and being covered with a shiny sugar glaze. In this special edition, the Portuguese pastry creation is topped with egg jam and finished with a thin layer of sugar syrup.

Those with a sweet tooth can also enjoy a special themed box, ideal for gifting to godfathers and godmothers during a season when togetherness, family, and friends take on even greater importance around the table. The ‘Lérinhas’ will be available at the Casa das Lérias Café from March 27 to April 13, in special boxes of 4 units priced at €8, or individually at a unit price of €2.20.

To extend the gastronomic experience and make the most of the Easter break, Casa das Lérias, located next to the Tâmega River, includes 22 rooms and suites, whose décor tells the story of the city through illustrious figures such as Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso or Alcino dos Reis, in a blend of sophistication and the detail of soft, neutral materials, an outdoor swimming pool, and also the possibility of bringing along four-legged friends.
