The Chaparro Alentejano restaurant has been distinguished as a recommended venue in the 2026 edition of the Boa Cama Boa Mesa Guide, one of the leading national references in the fields of gastronomy and hospitality.

The new edition of the guide, which will hit newsstands on April 24, brings together around one thousand accommodations and restaurants selected across the country, highlighting venues that stand out for the quality and consistency of their offering.

Part of the Holiday Inn Beja, Chaparro Alentejano has been establishing itself within the local gastronomic scene, focusing on the appreciation of traditional Alentejo cuisine. Its concept combines authenticity and comfort, revisiting regional recipes and products with a contemporary approach, while remaining true to the roots of Alentejo.

For Diogo Fragoso, General Manager of the hotel and the restaurant, this distinction represents more than a formal recognition. “It reflects the work developed to position Chaparro Alentejano as a meeting point around the table, where regional cuisine is presented with respect for tradition, attention to ingredients, and a sense of closeness, both for those visiting Beja and for the local community,” he emphasized.

With this recommendation, the restaurant strengthens its positioning as one of the gastronomic references in the municipality of Beja, contributing to the promotion of Alentejo’s culinary identity at a national level.
