Forno da Telha Pool Reopens for the Summer Season in Évora

The Forno da Telha pool reopened to the public on May 1, marking the beginning of the summer season at this space located within Quinta do Poço Novo, at Holiday Inn Express Évora.

The reopening coincides with the arrival of warmer days and reinforces the restaurant’s offering, combining gastronomy and leisure in an outdoor setting aimed at both visitors and local residents.

Access to the pool is available through different packages, with prices starting at €20, including admission, a sun lounger, a towel, and, depending on the option selected, bar credit. The menu available by the pool focuses on lighter, seasonal options, including appetizers, desserts, ice cream, refreshing drinks, wines, sangrias, and cocktails.

From Thursday to Saturday, the space also features late-afternoon entertainment with live music DJ set sessions. During the summer of 2026, these sessions will be led by André FmF from June through September, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The pool complements the restaurant’s concept, allowing guests to extend the experience beyond the meal itself. On Sundays, the Almoço dos Ganhões, inspired by Alentejo traditions, remains available and can be combined with pool access.

“With the reopening of the pool, we are once again offering a relaxed way to experience Forno da Telha during the hottest months of the year,” says Álvaro Grilo, director of the venue.
