Celebrating One Year of Bigger, Better Experiences at Lapa II - Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel

Today, Mercan Properties proudly celebrates the first anniversary of Lapa II, the building that marked the expansion of Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel. This important milestone reflects the continued growth of our five-star hotel in Porto’s Lapa neighborhood.

Opened in 2025, the new building strengthened the hotel’s offering with 78 additional rooms and an extensive wellness area, creating an even more complete and refined experience for every guest. Following this expansion, Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel now offers a total of 241 rooms and suites, a new spa, and a larger gym where visitors can exercise and unwind.

The hotel experience is further complemented by a rooftop pool, versatile event spaces, and L’Égoïste Restaurant & Bar, where Mediterranean-inspired cuisine meets signature cocktails—a refined choice for those seeking the very best.

From the rooftop sitting area and pool, guests can enjoy panoramic views across the city and toward the sea in Matosinhos. Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel is also located within Lapa Urban Park, a 17,000-square-meter green area in the heart of Porto that provides a refreshing natural setting for guests, local residents, and visitors alike.
