Mercan Panama Begins a New Chapter in Panama with Groundbreaking Ceremony of Albor at Santa María

On September 22, Mercan Panama celebrated an important milestone: the groundbreaking of Albor at Santa María, our first residential development in Panama.

The ceremony brought together key representatives from the public and private sectors, including Julio Moltó, Minister of Commerce and Industries of Panama; Jordi Vilanova, Vice President of Mercan Group; Arturo Sáenz Luna, President of MERCAN Panama; and Alfonso Pinzón, from Pinzón Lozano Architects, alongside distinguished guests, our valued broker partners, and members of our team.

Rising 48 stories in one of Panama City’s most exclusive communities, Albor at Santa María will feature 200 residences, including two- and three-bedroom units from 81 to 85 m² and penthouses of up to 176 m². Luxury finishes, privileged views, and amenities including a spectacular swimming pool, fully equipped fitness center, cinema, social areas, and dedicated wellness and entertainment spaces will come together to create an elevated residential experience.

This milestone also comes at an important moment for Panama, as the country continues strengthening its strategy to attract foreign investment through the Qualified Investor Program.
